I and my colleagues at Identity Works had no easy task when bridging half of a millennium of tradition with a new contemporary brand posture. Drawing from the classical shape of the church window and inspiration from the beauty of stained glass and liturgical colors, we created a design language that embodies hope, community, and connection. Warm and clear, the new design unites the church’s 1,300 parishes under one shared brand while still leaving room for local expression and contextualization.

This brand transformation —the strategy, expression, and all the new tools—marks a historic leap towards a more visible, more connected, and more forward-thinking church.
